Computer Build enables you to create build disks and build templates that are used to build computers on the network.
Building a computer installs a fresh copy of the operating system and any drivers required. Computers are built using build templates that define the operating system to be installed, as well as configurable settings such as hard disk partitions.
You can:
Create build disks. If you have added hardware to your computers (for example network adapter cards) you can add the appropriate drivers to a build disk for inclusion on computers that you build.
Generate build disk images. This creates an image of a build disk on a server. When generating a build disk image you can include one or more build templates. You can generate build disk images that include default build templates or custom settings by creating your own build templates.
Create build templates. This enables you to specify your own custom settings, for example to specify the general operating system settings or hard disk configuration for a computer.
After you have created a build disk image on a server, in order to create a physical build disk (for example a USB flash drive or CD) you need to copy the files or burn the image to your chosen media. To burn an image to a CD or DVD you will need to use suitable software.
